***** and misrepresentation of extreme H&F

On the 25th Jul 15 I was approached by Vincent (gym sales man) from Extreme Health and Fitness in Pretoria east, Elarduspark. He indicated the special they were running on that day for gym membership and the monthly fee of R199, he indicated that contract period will be 36 months with an option to transfer or terminate with penalty fee of 30%. He also explained the customer is able to choose a membership either upfront payment of R7 164 additional R200 joining fee. The second option was to pay a monthly fee of R199 for period of thirty six months. I categorically indicted that the 2nd option will suit me best and opted for R199 p/m for period of 36 months. After I signed the contract and payments done. Later during the day after I left the area, I realized that Vincent actually debited an amount of R7 164 and also R200 for joining fee. I contacted him and he indicated that I should come to the office and resolve the matter. Then when went to the office (gym) he was not there. Then I eventually spoke to the Gym owner his name is Mark. He is also giving a run for my money. That is ***** and misrepresentation. I terminated the contract on 28 Jul within cooling period.
