Difficulty to refund money

I joined the gym in January 2015 and took the Elite Plus contract which I paid upfront of R9000. Clause 7 on the contract allows for cancellation, but Kathrine sent an email saying we not allowed the refund, only to transfer the membership. Its been almost 1 month of giving notice of cancellation and still no refund. I've been given the run around and refused further contact details for the owner by Jessica.<br> <br> To date numerous messages and calls have been left with the gym to contact me.
