VERY GRATEFUL AND SATISFIED
<br> Thanks Tatum, delivered to Naples FL yesterday and unloaded into our storage here. <br> <br> All went well, but a few surprises and disappointments. The container had been opened and the contents moved to a delivery truck so that was a bit of a surprise, and while all the boxes were delivered, we have only been able to open a few which has revealed a box of broken china (#103) which was disappointing, but all in all it has gone pretty well. Your service was great and I hope the attached report is some value<br> you and your team did a great job with our move overseas, great attitude, professional service, leaving a very satisfied and grateful client. <br> <br> I would give them my unqualified recommendation.

Thank you for your kind report about the great service you received from Execu-move - we are obviously pleased to hear it but are equally disappointed that you have discovered some damages.
We have written to our colleagues in Florida to ask why the container was not delivered direct to residence but at this point surmise that it may have had to do with possible port / customs delays - coupled to the turn-around time to deliver the effects in Naples and return the container to the shipping line - a 360klm round trip.
If a container is not returned to the shipping line within an allotted time, penalties (demurrage) come into effect and the cost escalates quickly. These charges beyond our control are universally for the shipper (you) and this may have influenced their decision to rather return the container and deliver by van, saving you that possible high expense.
Of course this does increase the handling and thereby the risk - but let us hope it is limited to that one box!
