United with belongings in one piece...at last!!!
<p>I relocated with a shared container to Perth. My belongings were packed EXCEPTIONALLY PROFFESSIONAL and were received in similar EXCELLENT CONDITION. No issues.</p> <p> </p> <p>The removal price was UNBEATABLE! Great stuff.</p> <p> </p> <p>However, it took ONLY 9 MONTHS for delivery to happen...my items were packed July 2016 and received April 2017. Wish it was disclosed to me earlier that time really is not a priority in Africa! Bummer.</p> <p> </p> <p>I also had to do most of the enquires as to WHY IT TAKES SO LONG...?</p> <p> </p> <p>At least I have been reunited with my belongings in one piece.</p> <p> </p> <p>Thanks!</p> <p> </p>

Thank you for your kind report on Hellopeter - a little bitter sweet but we highly appreciate it none the less.
We are obviously delighted that you were happy with our service and that your shipment arrived intact but disappointed for you, that it took as long as it did.
I did get the team together to find out what the reasons were for the delays as it would have affected both parties. We hold your effects in our modern secure facility at our own cost during groupage (shared shipment) consolidation and so we derived no benefit by delaying your shipment, on the contrary. In the same breath you wanted / needed your shipment and we do empathise.
Generically, for the industry globally, groupage shipments to Perth declined following the economic downtrend in mining. This really left these shared shippers to Perth two options - either wait to consolidate enough volume to ship direct to Perth, or route it via Sydney (which has more traffic) and then on-carriage by rail to Perth. With the latter being a lot more costly, most people understandably opted to sit it out.
So we do empathise with you and your family Henro and sincerely wish that it could have been delivered sooner.
As for not keeping you in the loop - there is no excuse for this and I apologise for it and have addressed it with the team. The shipping department does operate under pressure and we have laid on additional staff to alleviate the pressure - but still, no excuses.
