Rethink Using Execu Move
I cannot recommend Execu-Move due to their unprofessionalism, lack of accountability, and failure to uphold their contractual obligations. They delivered our household goods to Kent Relocations their agent in Sydney in November 2024. Our goods were delivered to our house in February 2025. We unfortunately received goods belonging to other clients and did not get all our boxes. The promise that everything would be unpacked was also not fulfilled. When we addressed this with Kent Relocations we included Execu-Move in the communication. Since then it has been endless communication between the parties. Execu-Move never once took ownership of the problem. We were only informed on the 21st of August by Kent Relocations that they never received our missing box from Execu-Move and that they were informed about that by Kent removals in November 2024. It is more than nine months since they were made aware of the fact that they did not load our box from Johannesburg and when I emailed our contact person at Execu-Move about it, she said she forgot about the missing box and they were only then going to search their storage facility for our property. She also promised to get back to us before end of business on the 28th of August and again we haven't heard anything from them. Their lack of a response and taking responsibility during the enquiry process and our conversations with Kent Relocations is extremely disappointing. Their handling of our move has been a deeply frustrating experience. I hope others will take note of this review before engaging their services.

Thank you - and yes, I too was simply giving context regarding the storage because it plays an integral part in all of this.
First off - no excuses, your move did not go to plan and unfortunately our overseas agents (one of the oldest and most respected removal companies is Australia) who we selected for this shipment, disappointingly did not play their part as we have come to expect. We can only reiterate our sincere apology to you that you found yourself caught in the middle.
Despite some of the earlier frustrating mix ups by our agents who also managed to deliver another customers box to you .... twice .... one box (box #74 listed as 'bowls') remains missing? Months later, an unloading manifest was produced by our agents claiming it was "not sighted" during unloading in Australia?
Although this will not solve the missing box issue nor make up for poor service in Australia, it may help to throw light on where things went pear shaped. At our JHB warehouse where your effects were consolidated for groupage (shared) shipment - we use two totally separate load masters who in turn use two totally separate systems which are then cross referenced before the container is locked and sealed. This audit yielded a 100% load list with no discrepancies recorded for all 416 parcels belonging to nine customers on board.
Given that upon arrival in Australia all effects are first offloaded and set aside for quarantine inspection and that thereafter your effects went into formal storage with our agents for a few months before being loaded for delivery - and, given that they managed to mix up several customers parcels may, or should at least question where the missing box was more likely misplaced? By our understanding - our agent claims box #74 was noted as missing on their unload manifest upon arrival in Sydney - yet, (1) this was never brought to light when the goods went into their store, nor when they were loaded ex store and delivered to your home (2) box #35 delivered to you but belonging to another customer was, according to them, 'not noted on unloading' - yet their unload manifest does not show this? All very confusing.
Both Execu-move and our agents will of course continue to be on the lookout for the missing box - but in the meantime, you are at liberty to put in a claim against the liability insurance you selected.
Once again our sincere apology that your move with Execu-move was disappointing.
