Recommended for big house moves

Moving your home, typically happens over a month-end. The removal company that we previously used, did not have availability over this busy time. (Ours was not a small move, from a 4 to a 5 bedroom home) We found Execu-move online. Although our request was only a few weeks before the actual move (short in moving terms), Execu-move were able to make a plan. I suppose that is the benefit of a larger company with multiple trucks and teams. The team arrived slightly late, although they did call to notify us of the delay ( and they did work till 18h00, to finish the move). The team were great. Led by 'Aidan', the team first did a walkthrough, to understand the load. They then methodically started loading.... first the heaviest items; then room by room. Some seriously heavy furniture needed to be managed down, from the second;to the first floor, via a glass lined staircase. The team worked well together. The company must also be commended for allowing the team to take their lunchbreak. When the supervisor called for it, everyone sat down and pulled out their sandwiches etc. Clearly necessary, especially given the physical nature of the work. All in all, we were very satisfied with the move. The team were very professional and I would use Execu-move again, and also recommend them to others.
