Questionable company culture and vlaues

I paid for wrapping of my furniture to be moved from CT to Johannesburg. The person I purchased the furniture from had the furniture wrapped for me.

On the day, I would've expected Execu move to have informed me that the furniture had already been wrapped and they would refund me.

After the delivery of the furniture, I sent Execu move an email with the evidence that the furniture was pre wrapped. I received no immediate acknowledgement from them.

Later in the day, a person named Lance called me and provided me with a very defensive response and NO apology was offered to me. Also he committed that he had initiated the refund process.

I had to follow up on the status of the refund which was only processed a few days later.

In my view, on the day the furniture was collected, they should've pro-actively informed me that the furniture was already wrapped.

If I did not initiate the communication to them, my guess, they would said nothing and kept the R2415 wrapping charge.

On the day the furniture was delivered, their movers damaged a newly plastered wall in my home. I immediately informed the Driver and he assured me that he took a picture and sent it to the office, promising that someone from their office would call me to make an appointment to view the damage. Needless to say, nobody called.

On this point, during my telephone conversation with Lance, he informed me that the driver denied any liability of the damage. Bluntly put, he **** to his superiors.

I seriously question the company's culture and values.
