Overall a good experience with Execumove.
Dealing with Nina and Yvonne was a pleasure and the price they charged was very fair when compared to the other quotes. Our “stuff” and car arrived safely in Cape Town apart from our Yellow wood and Blackwood cabinet which was damaged. A crack in the cabinet door. We had not taken the comprehensive insurance offered by the movers as my own insurance provided cover. But did not want to claim for a relatively small amount at this stage. Execumove offered to pay R600 as a goodwill gesture toward repairing the cabinet which we accepted. However, can’t help thinking that all this would not have been necessary if the cabinet had not been damaged in the first place. I have rated them 5 stars and will recommend Execumove to anyone needing to move home, but will include a warning to pay the extra for insurance.

Indeed, getting it right the first time is what we strive for and would have helped as you suggest - but unfortunately moving household effects, that relies so heavily on human handling, carries risk and why All Risk liability is always strongly recommended.
