Thank you for the spirit in which you received my call today and for reminding us that we quote and move people, not just their very precious effects.
We obvious take great pride in what we do and thereby, take the knocks we get from time to time, badly as well.
Thank you for pointing out that your complaint was not about not getting a quote in your expected time frame but rather about not being advised by our office that getting air and sea rates from a town, 400klm inland in Australia, would take some time.
A short week (Easter) and the time differences between Australia and SA did not help matters - but still .... there was no excuse for not keeping you informed and for that we do sincerely apologise.
Tatum has subsequently received the rates and mailed you a quotation - we do hope that we can still be of service and prove to you, the value of our renowned service.
