Frustrated and Disappointed
Their communication is shocking and nobody can tell us if our container has left the UK. And our container was scheduled to arrive in Canada on the 26th of April, but nobody had the common courtesy to even let us know. Very disappointed and frustrated with Execu Move

30 Apr 2021, 12:59Hello Liesl
I thank you for giving me the time to better understand what transpired with your shipment. I also thank you for your heartfelt response to my e-mail following your review, and that we fully understand and empathize with you. As mentioned in my e-mail we, and the rest of the world, are dealing with unprecedented global shipping issues resulting from economies starting to regenerate production, post Covid-19. Ports are severely congested as inflows exceed outflows which in turn has placed our staff, and worse, many thousands of people, in really uncomfortable positions. We are doing everything we possibly can to try and reduce the impact of those situations over which we / our industry, have little to no control once the container has shipped. But as you say – despite these challenges there is no excuse for not keeping you, the customer more regularly in the loop, or immediately upon learning about a new event at some overseas port - and for this, both myself and our team involved with your shipment, sincerely apologise. We perhaps needed to remind ourselves that as leaders in our industry, we first and foremost move people, not just their effects, and that we have a huge responsibility to ensure a speedy and safe delivery and to keep our customers informed, despite all these global challenges.
As you are aware, your shipment is at sea again ex the UK - due in Canada in mid May and we trust that all will be well going forward now.
I remain available should you require any further assistance.
Kindest regards
