Execu Move - they're your guys

These guys are the best. I've moved many times in the last 40 years, including a few international moves. Exec Move has great people and the teams on the ground are courteous, friendly and obliging. By the end of the day they feel like mates.

Back at base, controlling the mothership, or so it seems, is the incomparable Sonja who has to be the company's secret weapon.

Having said all of that, we did experience a couple of breakages (and not all boxes unpacked yet) but it was a big load and I think it's rare to get away with nothing broken in a big move. The most disappointing thing was that the edge of a large sandstone table top was chipped somewhere between packing in Joburg and unpacking in the Overberg. The item had been crated so I suspect it was either before crating or on delivery when the item was lowered to the ground and probably the corner hit the ground first.

Despite this, I'm still a big fan (I was going to say their #1 fan, but it seems there is competition for this spot) and I heartily endorse them (as I've done to others already) if you are moving locally or internationally.

On trustworthiness: Quite by the by, it is interesting to note that the only time we have had items ****** by packers was on our move from Chicago to Joburg in 2003/4 and NOT with this company. Oh, and once many years ago a little bar toy from an office Christmas party went missing - it was a wind up ***** - obviously totally irresistible to the packer and no loss to us!! Also not Execu Move ;)
