A bad ending after a good start

Earlier this year I arranged to have a small shipment sent to the US. I was VERY impressed with the quick response and professional attitude of Tatum and Gerhard at Execumove (and sad as much on this site). I packed and wrapped the items myself and then asked a professional company to wrap the boxes in cellophane before I left.The boxes were stored in a secure room and the Execumove crew were given access to collect the boxes. I go a call from my brother-in-law to say that they are UN-packing and RE-packing the boxes. At this time I was already in the US. On arrival of the goods 9 months later, quite a few items were broken, and some never arrived. I immediately reported this to Execumove. A couple of weeks later, I went to SA to check for myself and found the missing box still there. I also found that one item was missing altogether. On reported this too...Unfortunately, despite explaining this to Mr Theron, no solution was offered and I am left with a less favourable impression at the end. My advice (if anyone is looking for some when moving countries) after this incident is that you MUST oversee the packing your goods at all times and not leave anything to chance or to trust.
