BEWARE OF EXCLUSIVE HOMES REALTY

I have recently rented a property from Exclusive Homes Realty. A lady named Paula Pirie whom I believe is the owner of this real estate agency, is easy to take your money, but refuses to pay back your money after I have complained about several issues in the property that I rented from her and refusing to fix the issues. Also false advertising a furnished place, only for it to be furnished with less than half of what is advertised. Also a fully working inverter that will assist with load shedding only to find the inverter is not working and needs maintenance and the inverter being the 1st selling point on the advert which had my attention.

I was unhappy within the first two week of me living there and canceled the contract. She has logged a dispute with the real estate tribunal after asking her for my deposit back, for the matter to be resolved in that manner. In the meantime, the place has been rented out to someone else but still don't have my deposit back. She is ignoring my messages. She has continuously reminded me that she did me a favor for letting me rent the property telling me that my ITC score is low and she should not actually give me the place but she will help me, after complaining about my issues she used that to ********* me as to why things cannot get fixed. She had one of the two bedroom mattresses washed by a company at her own initiative, left it outside still wet, the day after I moved in it started raining and I work 60km from the property, could not rush back to have the mattress removed from the rain, now blames me for the ruining of the mattress and is holding me responsible for the cost involved for the damaged mattress. If you want to rent a property in Harties / Hartbee****rt Dam DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY. You will be very frustrated with your decision and kiss your deposit goodbye
