Victimization by vicious estate agent

Deal with this estate agency at your own risk. The owner Matilda is vicious. You will sign a lease that clearly speaks to the BREACH OF LEASE AGREEMENT BY THE LANDLORD & clearly explains that "the tenant may cancel the lease without penalty if the landlord does not remedy the material breach within 20 business days of notification...." In my case she failed to attend to maintenance issues or report them to the owner BUT she still fought me viciously when I canceled the lease a month early, withheld my deposit for months and was a no show at the housing tribunal! The owner confirmed she knew nothing of my maintenance issues and would have solved them had she known but boss lady Matilda would not admit her mistake! She'll respond defensively to this but thank God its behind me.
