Excel Property Management have ****** R20k

We signed a contract in 2013 with Excel Property Management, with Jodi Franconi, to manage the lease on our property in Table View, Cape Town, with a 10% commission p/m.<br> <br> Excel took 1.5 month deposit from my tenant, and for the first year, the management contract ran fine, with only minor delays in payment of rental.<br> <br> However, during the second year of tenure, delays in rental payment from the property manager increased, always an excuse, and in May 2015, Excel disappeared entirely and stole 2 months rental from us plus a 1.5 month deposit from our tenant.<br> <br> The tenant of our property is entirely trustworthy, has never missed a payment, and we (as property owners) have subsequently renewed the lease and entered into a direct agreement with the tenant.<br> <br> Excel (Franconi) has disconnected her office line and is now believed to reside off Gie Road in Table View attempting to start a new recycling business, and is no longer registered with the estate agents board.
