Lack of integrity in business!

I, as an Independent Registered Accountant /Business Consultant, was asked to conduct Sage Training together with monthly finance processes and procedures for the Administrative person employed by Excalmed Holdings (SA) Pty Ltd by the director Domingo's da Costa. I had previously worked with him in companies more than 20 years ago, and trusted him. In good faith, despite the company not being in a sound financial position, he made the decision to employ my professional services. I even met with his accountant, Sifiso Khoza, to consult on various financial matters, as the year end figures (Bank reconciliations) were out for the last 5 years, and sets of AFS had been produced. After having been in the financial industry myself for over 30 years, I charged out at my professional fees, and even gave a discount of at least R 4 000.00. To date, not a cent has been paid to me, despite empty promises. Please do not ever deal with him, as I always thought he operated in business with integrity. Sifiso, make sure you guys receive payment in advance for any work to be done! His previous accountants were not paid for at least 18 months either. I should have known, lesson learnt!
