wrong pricing

I went to exact at attlyn mall to purchase two pairs of jeans they both had the price of R220 on them when I got to the till point they scanned R240 each the gentleman who was helping me told me that I had to pay R480 in total. I told him that I could not pay R480 because I only had R440 on me and asked him to do a price override on them because as a consumer I have the right to pay the price I see. He told me that he could not override them because his manager was not there and he could not phone their manager because their phone was not working and the lady who was working with him said that their manager could not leave wherever he/she was to come assist me!!! I had to leave 2 pairs of jeans because of wrong pricing,...I did not get their names because they did wear name tags
