I had an account with Exact which was handed over to MBD after I lost my job

I had an account with Exact which was handed over to MBD after I lost my job. Nine months later, once employed again, I went to Foschini to settle the debt and received a payment receipt. However, when I followed up, I was told to contact MBD, who then claimed I still owed R473.81. I requested a formal statement reflecting all payments, outstanding balance, and proper banking details, but instead they only sent me an SMS with banking details. Despite calling again and explaining my concerns, MBD has failed to provide the statement, leaving me unsure if they want me to actually close the account or keep me in a loop. I also emailed both TFG and MBD. TFG rep**** saying I must deal with MBD, even though I made the payment in their store, and MBD has not responded at all. This lack of accountability makes me feel frustrated and uncertain, as I only want clear proof of my balance and a final resolution.
