Employee sprayed sanitizer in my eyes and laughed at me

Hi

I am so angry and disappointed in the Exact store in church street Pietermaritzburg.

I went there to get a last minute father's day gift for my husband.

I got to the door with my son and the man at the door sprays sanitizer onto my sons hands and turns to me and sprays the sanitizer into my eyes causing me to be temporarily blind. All I heard was him laughing at me.

I then grabbed my sons hand and stepped to the side I rubbed my eyes till I could see a little and this employee was still laughing at me with his colleague. Who was apologizing on his behalf. I then asked for the manager she came up to me and all she said was I'm really sorry mam.

I would like to state that this act could possibly cause corneal abrasions and scarring, promote angiogenesis in my eye and thereby cause loss of vision and increase the risk of ocular infections.

My son was traumatized by what he witnessed. I don't normally go into town but I had no option.

Could you please take action against this employee and I would like to know what you are doing as a store. I will possibly be seeking advice from a eye specialist because I am afraid this could cause long term damage to my eyesight.
