Disrespect from Exact employees.

Writing on my mother's behalf.

Mom: "This is to report disrespect and humiliation that I received from the Exact store at BT Ngebs Mall in Mthatha today. I went to the shop today around 11:30. As I was shopping for my grandchild on the sale items, I saw a dress that I liked but I could not see the size on the dress. As I looked, I thought the price was on the price tag which was attached to the dress, however, I could not find it. As I was searching for the tag, I heard a lady (assuming she's themanager) from the counter shouting out to a shop assistant on the floor saying, "watch her, I saw her the minute she walked in" . Immediately after that, the shop assistant she was talking to came closer and kept on looking at me. I collected all that I needed and went to the tills to pay. As I was standing there, the assistant kept on looking at me as if I am a ***** that needs to be guarded until I exit the store.

I was hurt and felt belittled and disrespected that a person would suspect me to be a ***** and even say that she saw me the minute I got into the shop to such an extent that I wouldn't shop freely because of the accusations.

I write this as a distressed customer, asking from you to please explain what criteria your employees use to differentiate between customers and ******* that get into your shop.

I hope to receive a response from you as a matter of urgency."
