Bad service

i bought clothes at Exact in Sterkspruit with my account on the 25 of February 2017 and a few weeks later while i was cleaning my bag i was going through my invoices to make sure i dont throw away important invoices i noticed that Exact charged me double for a pair of trousers. i work in a small town called Trompburg so i had to wait until moth end to report the matter, when i was in Thaba Nchu i went to the Exact there and enquired but i had forgotten the invoice in Trompsburg. The lady who assisted me in Thaba Nchu said there is no problem they can assist me when i come with the invoice. After a while i managed to find someone going to Bloemfontein, I gave the invoice to a friend who was going to Bloemfontein to go and fix the matter but was told the holder must be the one who fix it and they need the card. I eventually got a chance to fix the matter at the Thaba Nchu Exact but the lady said it would cause stock shortage to them its best i go to the store i purchased the items from. I dont go to the Eastern Cape on a monthly basis. This weekend i visited the Sterkspruit Exact where i bought the trousers and the manager there refused to help me and said i should have come sooner even after i explain the situation and instead imp**** that i may be lying and where is my proof that i got one pair of trousers. The manager refused to tell me who he was and when i explained to him that i'm not accusing his staff of theft and i reffered to the matter as an error because there's no way i would buy the same type and size of trousers for two pairs. He then told me that its my responsibility to check my invoice before i live the store if im not charge double. I just got confused by his response and lack of manners, since when must a customer check every time they make a purchace in a store? As Exact do you employ dishonest people to rob your customers? Now must i worry everytime i make a purchase that im not charged double? The manager also told me that the person who assisted me that day no longer works there and when i asked him who has to take responsibility he told me its not him he doesn't know and i should have come earlier but i explained i dont live there and what had happened, he told me its not his problem. I still have a copy of the invoice with me
