extra cost on top of product cost not explained

Bought a set of wheelarches from Pretoria branch. Had to take it in to cut , trim and drill holes extra to make it fit with an extra cost of R650, and i had to drive to Pretoria. Maybe you should let the clients know that maybe the product wont fit and there will be an extra cost to make it fit, or just get the right product from the start, or don't even buy the product if it doesnt fit.
