*****ING MY MONEY

On 28/07/2022 I placed an order for the amount of R 394.99 on the evolution vape website. When proceeding to pay, my sms confirming payment comes through, and at the same time, from the evolution vape website, a message stating that payment has failed. I immediately go on their chat site, which is the ONLY way to contact them, and ask what is going on - they, apparently, go to check their bank statement and come back advising that payment has failed at 07:43. I call my bank and ask them to check, and they confirm that payment went through. I go back on the chat and advise such, again they only tell me that payment has failed on their side and that my money will be refunded in 48 hours (why would they tell me this, if they insist that payment has failed) So. on my bank statement, my sms and via my online app, it shows that I made payment, but they can't seem to pick that up. Today I ask for an email address to which I can send proof that payment was made. I am provided with an email *** and I proceed to send my proof and refund request to her. She replies to my email, and I quote: "We do apoligies with all of this but unfortunately your money has failed on our side at 7.43 in the morning and you have used EFT ,and capitec takes 5 days to reverse the money since you used EFT thank you" Wow, the spelling and grammar in this email.... but that's not my problem. Oh, and to my dismay, this Aletta is a mere Online Assistant, not even a manager who could deal with such problems. First they tell me my money will be refunded in 48 hours and now suddenly it will be up to my bank (Capitec) to reverse the money. Why would my bank reverse the money if the fault is on their side (Absa). So, now I'm out R 400 and EVOLUTION VAPE refuses to accept my proof of payment. With ABSOLUTELY NO details on the website for anyone to be contacted if there is any problems, and when you ask for help, you are forwarded to an online assistant. How many other people have they ****med like this, I wonder!!
