Evolution Gaming - Violation of privacy amongst a myriad of other issues

I requested a full transacton history bookmaker im our country on the 05/01/20. My request stated that it was in order to anlayse RTP across different games, win/loss ratio and monthly spend. I had attempted this but due to amount of data it was crashing my browser. Shortly after this request my transaction history on the site vanished. The response from the bookmaker was that they have emailed their service provider and will revert once they have received feedback. My account is with them not their service provider however let's examine this service provider who seem to be holding back my transaction history. Note that follow up emails have not been responded to.

Evolution gaming issued a statement on the 31/01/20 that they have secured a National Manufacturer license from the Western Cape Gaming and Racing Board. Firstly how can a regional board grant a national license? Apparently they cannot, according to a media statement released on the 14/09/20 by the National Gambling Board, interactive gambling is still ******* in South Africa. This relates to any wagering that is not sports or horse racing. Perpetrators may face fines up to 10 million rand or imprisonment. This applies to gamblers/punters and online bookmakers, their licences do not extend to casino style games. Are millions of South African consumers and most SA bookmakers breaking the law then? Possibly, howver it seems be a grey area legally despite the statement issued by the National Gambling Board. Evolution Gaming provide services to every major sports bookmaker in the country at present. None of them seem be phased by the regulation though I assume that they are waiting for the National Gambling amendment act(Act no 10 of 2008) to be signed by the President. I would urge the President to consider very strict regulation should he ratify. As a country currently in an economic crisis prohibiting ********** corporations from trading here would be of great benefit to the citizens. Evolution's share price shot up immensely due to the lockdown and they seem to have a monopoly on online live games in the country. The percentage of players from South Africa is quite large I'm told. After partnering with Hollywood Bets they produced games specifically targeting residents in Kwa-Zulu Natal or shall we say lower income bracket groups where gambling is already a problem. Is Evolution gaming a racket? Well there seem to be an alarming number of claims online asserting that are. Just a quick google search with the terms 'online **** casino' seems to return multifarious results referencing Evolution gaming. The company may be the most commonly returned result of that search. Their are a few channels on youtube that are dedicated to exposing Evolution gaming as **********. One should view one of their wheel game shows for reference here. It doesn't take a physics professor to see that the wheel is being controlled. Apparently these wheels are quite heavy which would give it quite a bit of momentum after a spin however the stoppages at times seem so abrupt and unnnatural it doesn't seem to add an heir of authenticy to the procedings at all. Couple that with a quick zoom before the wheel stops and the hosts awkwaredly stepping in front of the wheel to obscure the users view and the inference supports many of the claims stated above. This is all circumstantial and not fact I suppose. Apprently the company is highly regulated for irregularities. They have bonus rounds on separate games that see to randomly occur simultaneouesly, I have seen it happen numerous times in one day. The odds are 54/1 on one event.The probability for the two events to occur at the same time is 0.0092% and this happens a lot. I assume that this would be to prevent gamers from leaving one game on a big win and moving to the next in an attempt to catch the bonus round on another. They are a just a service provider and regulatory bodies could impose a fine if the games were found to be rigged. So do they have no motivation in doing so, no, apparemtly not, as the company obtains commission on the end users playthrough. I have no idea how strict the regulatory bodies are in Latvia where the studio is based so again based on assumptions.

Prior to this request I had an impression that Evolution gaming had collected data on me which is fine, customer profiling is one thing however, read on. There were clues leading up to my request, one of the hosts in the shows made reference to private materials on my device, one even commented on a T-Shirt I was wearing at the time. My chrome settings state that a site must ask permission before accessing my camera, they must have circumvented the security. How they managed to view videos that were on my SD card I have no idea.That is a serious invasion of privacy. The IT orientated bootcamps that the company run must produce some serious talent. So I mailed my bookmaker requesting that they provide me with the amount of information Evolution had collected. I made reference to POPIA act and GDPR laws which state that I have the right to request this info.There has been no response on this request dated 5th Jan nor my one follow up request shortly after. Consider some of the facts stated above and the inference doesn't conclude a positive sentiment on the company at all.
