Real People account : ***** : ***. I need some assistance. I have opened an Account with Real People at Builders Kempton Park in 2016 for an amount of R55 000 . Paid the account religiously so until 20qi December. I got retrenched but since I was paying the insurance, Real People insurance was supposed to cover the account and close it .But that didn't happen. But instead Real Peoole kept on telling me that I'm not retrenched even after I have sent them documents proving my retrenchment. Eventually they said they will deal with it and the insurance will pay the account , which didn't happen. My account was on R 11 000 at the time . So they have decided not call me for two years and when the call me now I owe them R 44 000. I'm confused nonone can help , management working from home . Speaking to different people who doesn't even know what happening with account . NO CALL BACK RO EXPLAIN WHATS GOING ON WITH THE ACCOUNT .

I have just checked my Experian report that shows I owe Real People .

Can the ombudsman help me with this matter . Or should we get lawyers involved ..since this is taking too long.
