Rip-off

I have an existing debt with real people, due to the financial constraints I registered for debt review with debt busters and along the line I encountered problems with the company and I cancelled, in January 2021 I entered into a payment agreement with real people but to my surprise the debt amount is not decreasing it is still the same amount, I only skipped last month in 2021 and yet the amount is still stagnant, am I paying for interest here because it sure seems like and if that’s the case I will stop payments because I’m ********** and I’m going no where with debt reduction. I need clarity and resolution to this matter from real people, I think creditors are using the global crisis to rip consumers off by making payments arrangements for struggling people
