Review for Evetech – Outstanding Service!

On Saturday, I went to pick up my new upgrade kit from Evetech. When I got home and assembled my new components, I immediately got a yellow DRAM light and a red CPU light with no POST. My first thought was that the motherboard was dead.

I contacted Evetech on Monday morning and was put through to Ewan from the support team. I explained the situation and told him that a family member would bring in the components for the RMA process, as I really needed everything sorted by Thursday. Even though I suspected the motherboard was the issue based on my own troubleshooting, I asked if he could also test the CPU and RAM for peace of mind. I also mentioned that my mom would be dropping everything off and that she has very little knowledge about PCs, so she wouldn’t be able to explain much.

Ewan assured me there was no stress — she could simply call him when she arrived, and he would personally assist. My mom dropped off the components and waited at Evetech, and Ewan immediately got to testing. He confirmed that both the motherboard and the CPU were dead — extremely rare, but still possible.

Evetech replaced the items the same day, before closing at 4pm. The PC is now fully assembled and working perfectly!
