Regret Spending R34k – Poor Quality, No Support Outside Cenurion

I spent R34,000 on a custom PC from EVETECH, and honestly, I regret it. I live in KZN, and they have no repair center outside of Centurion. So if anything goes wrong, guess what? You have to ship your whole PC back to Centurion.

Straight out the box, one of the RAM sticks was faulty — so much for their "burn-in testing." I spent the December holidays without my brand-new PC. Then, a few months later, the cooling fan started grinding and making an awful noise, and the RGB lights in the expensive EVETECH-branded case began flickering and dying. That meant sending it back a second time.

While being returned, the courier van had an accident and delayed delivery even further. Fast forward a few more months: the RGB lighting has failed again. I’m done. I can’t afford to be without my PC every few months — I actually use it for work.

If you don’t live near Centurion and want reliability and real support, avoid EVETECH. Their quality control is weak, and their after-sales service is just not practical if you're outside Gauteng.
