Poor After Sales Service

We bought two laptops and one pc from Evetech in July 2018. Although the two laptops had exactly the same specs (MSI GL63 8RC) their performance varies greatly! When running Windows’ diagnostic tools, the one’s hard drive performed much better than the other one’s. This was brought to the attention of Evetech who then informed me that the one laptop must be booked in under its warrantee, but they couldn’t confirm how long the diagnosis or repairs will take. It’s impossible for us to be without the laptop for several days, I offered to buy another hard drive from Evetech. I was then informed that it will cost R599 to insert the hard drive and that my warrantee will lapse if I were to install the hard drive myself. Even after going over the whole saga again, they refuse to insert the hard drive if they are not paid the R599.

I reckon this company is trying to make a meal out of it, even after I’m trying to rectify the problem at my own expense by purchasing another hard drive from them. In future, I’d rather spend R500 more and buy from Incredible Connection and get proper after sales service.
