No repair service for MSI computers by Evetech

An MSI Prestige PS63 was bought through Evetech. It was booked in for repairs in the first week of January 2022. The wifi and bluetooth was not working. This took almost 4 months to be addressed. After numerous communications via email as well as telephonically, the machine was returned to us in April and came back with exact the same issue, as well as additional problems - the microphone did not work now either. We booked it in again on 25 April 2022 with Evetech, with the guarantee that it will now be send to the MSI repair centre. On 19 May I received the following message after annoying them requesting updates. The recent update as per the service centre HVJ71488 Part issued ,Under repairs ERMA023302 The Parts have been issued and is currently undergoing repairs. On the 20th May Evetech expected the laptop to be returned during the coming week and I was referred to the MSI centre in Sandton. When contacting them I was made aware of their policy of not discussing any information on a repair with a 3rd party, as I did not book the laptop in with them. Again I contacted Evetech. They responded with the following message on 30 May 2022 We have emailed the service centre regarding this issue in attempt to get this resolved for you as soon as possible. Our compliant is that there is no commitment from Evetech to have repairs done on MSI machines. They distance them from the problem and blame 3rd party service providers. We have been without a laptop for 5 months with no clear indication of when we can expect either a fixed or replaced laptop.
