Don't buy from Evetech.co.za

I will never recommend people buying from Evetech EVER. They might have great prices, but their stuff doesn’t last. I bought a gaming PC with a TByte mouse and keyboard on 16 June 2022 (I have the order number and invoice number). It was set up on 22 June 2022. On 27 July 2022, the TByte mouse stopped working, and you replaced it. The second TByte mouse packed up on 3 September 2022. The SSD packed up on 20 October 2022.

In August 2024, my PC crashed, and I had to pay a private IT company to get it up and running again because it wouldn’t reset. Last Friday, 1 October 2024, it crashed again, and it wouldn’t reset. It was thought it was the SSD, BUT it seems to be the whole motherboard or something. The IT guy is trying everything to get it going, but it looks like it will have to be replaced.

I cannot afford to replace a R12 000 machine that was only bought in 2022. I am a disabled single mother who works 24/7 BECAUSE I have no other financial help. I cannot work now because I have no PC. Who is going to pay my monthly expenses?

I am going to post this on HelloPeter.com too. If you had any conscience, you would replace it or refund me even though it’s more than two years later. But you got your money, so who cares if the equipment doesn’t last?

DON’T BUY FROM EVETECH! It will cost you more to fix their equipment. I have had other computers last ten or more years without crashing, and they were only replaced because they couldn’t handle my editing programs and big files.
