DON'T BUY ANY LAPTOPS FROM EVETECH, MUSTEK OR ASUS ! ! !

Pathetic after sales service and all 3 companies are in just for the money.

I purchased an Asus laptop from Evetech in January 2017 worth R17000.00 and within 6 months it gave me problems. The motherboard on this laptop was replaced within the 6month period and I did not get a replacement laptop or a refund even though it was under the "6 month" period which according to the CPA rightfully needs to be replaced.

I have been having problems with this laptop from day one and I have not received the after sales service from all 3 companies. It is an endless rat race to try get a hold of them or try making them assist you with your problem.

I have now requested for a credit from both companies, I've done all the formalities and the credit was rejected saying that the keyboard was damaged by me. I do not agree with that and I have the right to a refund because this laptop had a problem with it's motherboard within 6months and I am being ****** as a consumer.

I have even contacted Asus directly however after several calls and emails I still get no response.

I have also gotten a hold of both managers at Evetech and Mustek but they simply dont care and they are all just in there for the money, I have even requested an upgrade to the machine or something with same specs but I get no positive feedback.

Evetech goes ahead and cancels my warranty instead because according to them I damaged the keyboard. To me the fact remains that this was a defective product from day 1! A motherboard on a laptop should not be replaced as early as 6months of use!

I am being ****** and all I can advise is for other consumers to not get into their trap because as soon as your money is down they forget you ever existed.
