Cheap modifications, poor service

My husband and I bought laptops from Evetech earlier this year. We collectively spent over R46 000 with the assumption that we would get quality products. Instead, the laptops have been overheating and giving us constant problems. After 6 months, my husbands laptop wouldn’t come on and the error was that the hard drive was not installed. We tried contacting Evetech but since he desperately needed it for work, he decided to get it fixed privately and paid over R2000 to replace a cheap hard drive that Evetech had fitted into the PC. Now my laptop is having the same problem. I have contacted Evetech several times but their customer care is pathetic. After a few attempts, I was told I needed to try a different email address to communicate with them which I did. I was then sent a quotation where I now had to pay courier fees to get their defective product back to them while it is still under warranty. I mad the payment and emailed them, but there’s been no communication since. I’ve called and they keep asking me to email which I keep doing but no one responds. I also can’t get an answer as to when the laptop will be fixed once it gets to them and seeing as they constantly have issues, I’m beginning to think that this might take months. Dealing with Evetech from the date of purchase to now has been a nightmare. Don’t waste your time and money with them
