Be careful trusting Evetech's "Support"
Generally have had good experiences in the past, but I can't say I'm having a good experience right now. I order a CPU and GPU on Tuesday 22 March 2022. 4 days later (26 March 2022), I was notified that they ran out of stock on the GPU while processing orders, and that they suggested an alternative product (Same GPU but just Asus instead of XFX). Problem is that I have to pay R500 more, which is ridiculous as this is an issue that I have no control over.
I confronted them about this as the same SKU that I ordered was still listed in stock, now just R500 more than I paid. I also addressed the delivery fees as I paid for delivery and shipping as the GPU I ordered did not have free delivery listed (now it does and the same story with the alternative GPU). I was then told this morning that this is a system error, but I still have to pay R401 extra (they dropped the R99 delivery fee).
In what world is it acceptable to charge the customer for a system error and bad logistics on your end, Evetech?
Further to this, I have come across some articles from 2020, so this seems to not be a new problem with you.

Evetech, this is a matter of principle. This isn't about the R500 or R401 or whatever. This is about you doing the right thing and fulfilling your end of the bargain as per the CPA. You've already taken my money, and now you are trying to make your problem my problem. Unacceptable.
