Avoid this company like the plague!

TL;DR Avoid this company like the plague, lazy staff, inefficient processes, dog water courier company.

In 2017, Evetech was the best company around for your PC needs. You could order Monday morning and receive your item Tuesday morning.

The past two years have been a nightmare with Evetech. They were riddled with slow service, lack of communication and a courier company that seemly doesn't exist except for their website.

From ordering online at Evetech to getting your order handed over to their courier company takes 3-7 business days. The courier would then take 5-14 business days just to deliver your order. Evetech uses a "budget service" with Rhenus Logistics, essentially spitting in the face of their customers who pay R99 for delivery. To put that into context at ordering from suppliers in other provinces you can pay R99 for delivery and get the order within 2 days (with weekend delivery).

To collect at Evetech you need to email their sales team. Their response time is pathetic and you would be lucky to get more than 1 email in the same day. After you eventually get them to quote you on the items you want, you need to email PoP to their payments team. It takes their payments team 2-3 business day to clear your instant EFT payment. After which you have to wait additional time for them to process the order for collection.

Definitely never plan to use Evetech again in the future. I would 100% recommend you use Wootware, they are efficient, have great communication and above all meet their customers expectations. Evetech is just cheap, and you get the service that goes with the cheap title. It doesn't matter if you spent R400 or R80 000, you get the same cheap service.
