SOLAR COMPANY NON RETURN OF DEPOSIT

I visited the House and Garden show 2018 on the 6 July 2018. I had taken interest in a solar product by an exhibitor, Evest Holdings. I was uncertain on taking the product, but was however convinced by the two sales persons (Angelique- ********** 503 and Stiaan ********** 574) to make the purchase and by paying a deposit to hold the price of R124 000.00. I asked what if I decide not to take the product, and they gladly said the deposit (R10 000.00) was only to hold the discounted show price as it was the last item and that they will gladly return the deposit if I decide not to take it.

Having gone home I had a rethink of purchase and decided against it. I was then contact by Michelle (***) a few days later and I advised her of the same, she said that she had sent me an email and they were ready to install. I explained the change of mind and asked that my deposit be returned. She said she will speak to her boss and get back to me. She did not call back. I then rep**** to the email that i finally received from her explaining the problem. I was then rep**** to by there firm of appointed attorneys. By now I was not happy. I then called Michelle again and said that this was not necessary as you promised to pay back my deposit, she said again she will check with her boss. She did not call back.

I then got hold of Angelique and explained my problem. She did acknowledge that she and Stiaan did say that they will pay back the deposit. She said she will check with her boss and get back to me. Since then she does not take my call. I then got hold of Michelle again, and she said that they will sort it out and I must just reply to the attorneys email and say that I spoke to her. I did same. I received an unfavourable reply from them, refusing to pay back my deposit. I am at a lose end and require your assistance to recover my money.
