********** service and product delivered long after the wedding!!

I would recommend staying FAR AWAY from Everything Wedding. Their customer service is appalling and they keep removing the honest and factual reviews that I post. I am posting this again to try and ensure that no other bride has to go through the stress and disappointment they caused me before my wedding day.

I ordered a veil from Everything Wedding and despite communicating my wedding date with them several times and trying to cancel the order when it was too late - they still shipped the veil (after the wedding had taken place) and then refused to refund the shipping, or pay for the courier fees to come and pick up the veil that they had shipped AFTER the wedding. Below I've inserted a factual timeline of events:

November 25th: I emailed Tracey and asked how long it would take them to courier / ship the veil to me.

Nov 26th: Tracey responded asking when the wedding was. I mailed back stating it was on the 25th of Feb.

Nov 27th: Tracey mailed back stating I would definitely have the veil by earliest in January.

Dec 5th: I mailed Tracey proof of payment and asked when I could expect the delivery. She responded stating that she will keep in contact regarding the courier

Jan 12th: I emailed Tracey (despite her promise to keep in contact) and asked if my order had been dispatched. Once again, I got a non-commital response from her stating that she will keep connected and will hopefully get me a delivery date asap.

Jan 23rd: I emailed Tracey again asking her to courier the veil that week. She assured me that the manufacturer had sent the order and as soon as she received it, she will dispatch it. She asked me to give it two weeks, but that it will reach me before my wedding (which shows that she was cognisant of the wedding date).

Feb 7th: I emailed Tracey stating that it had been two weeks and the veil had still not arrived. Tracey responded stating that she had liaised with the manufacturer who would confirm the delivery date asap. (This caused some serious alarm bells to start ringing)

Feb 15th: I emailed Tracey in a panic stating that my wedding was next week and I needed an urgent update on the veil. The response I received was "We've pushed our manufacturer hard and it should arrive this weekend. Which date is your wedding? We will notify you by Sunday" I then **** in my response (due to blind panic) and told Tracey the wedding was the 21st of Feb (it was actually the 25th) in the hopes of hurrying the delivery along.

Feb 18th: Tracey said that the supplier had sent them the veil. And questioned if my wedding was actually on the 21st or if I just wanted the veil by then. She then told me that it wouldn't reach me by the 21st. I sent back a very angry email asking her why she had repeatedly promised me (since early December) that the veil would get to me in time, if that in fact was not the case. I did not respond to her question regarding the date of my wedding as she had told me that the veil would not be arriving in time for it.

A couple of angry emails conveying my disappointment were sent back and forwards with Tracey. On 2 April I sent Tracey an email asking her to refund the full amount I had paid for the veil. She responded stating that she had already sent me the veil (one must wonder why - when she had already told me that it wouldn't reach me in time). I had moved houses since my wedding on the 25th of February, so had not received the veil. However, I contacted the people staying in my previous residence and they confirmed that they had received a parcel for me on 31 March!!!!! Over a month after the communicated wedding date. Tracey had been well aware of the wedding date throughout the process (and could have read my previous emails if she really couldn't remember it), yet still thought it appropriate to send a veil over a month after she knew that the wedding had taken place. I find this complete lack of customer service abominable. A wedding is a stressful enough event without having to worry about finding a new veil a matter of days before the wedding is due to happen. I requested that Tracey collect the unopened delivery immediately and refund me - something she refused to do as it was "against their policies" to pay for courier fees.

This whole process was stressful, unnecessary and incredibly vexing and irritating. Please DO NOT use Tracey or Everything Wedding - it will cause a lot of unhappiness and stress at a time that it supposed to be full of joy.
