Pathetic Quality and even worse Business Ethic!

<p>I ordered a dress from Everything Stylish at the beginning of March and eventually received it 13 May, having to fetch it from the post office myself and paying an additional R65 customs duty, over and above the R150 shipping already included in my order. When I opened the package my heart sank, the garment I'd been waiting for was the worst quality I have EVER seen! What they advertised as a Beautiful Chiffon dress turned out to be something that looked like someone’s kitchen or bathroom curtains, stitched together by a 5 year old to resemble a dress. I immediately emailed them with my complaint which was met with an offer to exchange it for another size..?! The size was never an issue the absolutely shocking quality is the issue! O, and I was to mail the garment to their P O Box at my expense and they would THEN mail me something else..Seriously?? My 2nd reply was met with a referral to their T's & C's which, when read, is so tight they can basically get away with ANYTHING!! My personal favourite bit ' We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.’ What the HELL?! Who does business like that? When you enter into a purchase agreement of course you are expecting the quality you paid for! Especially if you are paying R380 (on sale mind you) + R150 shipping + plus a surprise R65 customs!!! that is R595 for a dress I will NEVER ware! As these are clearly a bunch of sharks...I will write this off as school fees with the following lessons learnt:</p> <p>NEVER make emotional purchases</p> <p>ALWAYS read the Terms and Conditions</p> <p>If an online purchasing site does not list a contact number SMELL THE RAT AND STAY AWAY!</p> <p>MAY THIS SERVE AS A WARNING TO ALL CONSIDERING A PURCHASE FROM #EVERYTHING STYLISH</p> <p> </p>
