Poor after sales service - Rusted kettle.

A couple of months ago I bought a stove top kettle from Everyshop and within 6 weeks it had started rusting. When I emailed them about the problem, they told me to request to return it on the website. When I tried to do this it states "Cannot be returned". I started a chat on the website but the answer I received was: "Unfortunately it is out of seven days so we cant exchange or do a refund". This is totally unacceptable. A kettle is meant to permanently hold water, if it rusts in a few short weeks it is faulty, but obviously this fault will not necessarily be obvious in the first 7 days.
