Everyshop - Worst refund service - Don't be easy on them...

NB: This review is a few weeks dated from today, however still relevant and serves as a cautionary to those making a purchase at Everyshop. The below was sent in an email as a last resort and attempt at reaching out to the company regarding my refund at the time.

"Good day,

I have been exhausting all possible means to get my refund of R5000.00 which is long overdue to be paid to me since the 25th of January 2023. It is the 14th of February and still have not had a single call from anyone at your business to give me an update.

I called again this morning and got through to Silindile who provided me with an update that your warehouse has not updated the system to say that they have collected the goods. Your warehouse from Jetpark collected the goods for return last week Thursday, 9th February 2023 and therefore cannot understand why the system has not since been updated.

After speaking to Silindile she made me aware that she will be escalating the matter (this is about the 15th - 20th escalation between WhatsApp chat, Twitter, email and phone calls. While speaking to her on the phone, I was also chatting to one of your customer care agents on WhatsApp that tells me that the process for refunds starts from the date of collection of the item, however nowhere on your website does it stipulate that.

Please NOTE I have escalated this matter to the relevant Obudsman."
