Not so evergreen

This morning I was told by a gentleman who regularly walks his dog on Sunrise Beach that Evergreen Lifestyle Village in Muizenberg has increased its meal fee from R35 to R60 ... This is a huge increase (my math is rusty but I calculate around 70%) - especially as these folk are pensioners. Residents have attempted to take it up with Management and now have started boycotting meals. My worry is that they bought into the facility on the understanding that they would be able to have healthy balanced meals at a good price.
