Worst. Events. Company. Ever.

I had used Eventworx to do the décor for my wedding and it was the worst decision that I had ever made! I tried to do my research as best I could prior to hiring them and the reviews they received on their Facebook page were good- as were the images of the events they had done prior. But needless to say, after my wedding, they removed the Review option from their FB page.

There were so many things that they under delivered on and when I pointed this out to the owner, I was told not to be a bride who'd find one fault then searched for additional things that were wrong. What was wrong was the following: the cutlery, crockery and Perspex pulpit they was not cleaned, they delivered the incorrect helium balloons (the size, color were wrong as well as the missing writing & incorrect confetti used), there were boxes of décor that was not delivered on the day prior (which meant that I had to wait until the wedding day at 11:00 when the eventually delivered it and set up the items myself), missing décor items and what they delivered in décor was drastically different to what I had ordered and the reference images I had sent them and agreed on with the owner.

The worst part of it all was that I was sent a Facebook message the morning of my wedding day, from the owner, telling me that if I was not happy with what they had done, he would send his staff to take down all the décor that day prior to the start of my wedding- what professional does that?

Aside from this, when I contacted the company via email regarding all that happened, it was not the owner who responded, instead it was his partner who had offered something that almost resembled an apologized, who offered to only refund the balloon money and said that the owner was going through a hard time in his personal life and that that was the reason for his behavior. And yet, on the owner's Facebook page & WhatsApp profile pics he was topless and happy? I'm still waiting for my refund...and a proper apology.
