If one were to search for "dedication" in the dictionary, one would see a picture of Nicky. This lady went ABOVE AND BEYOND for my reception. That's right: it was a wedding reception. Due to COVID my partner and I could not celebrate our union, so we had a one-year-later reception party. The guests included Jewish grandparents, Christian parents, ***** millennials, a teenager, drinking people and sober people, lactose intolerance, country folk and city folk, and loud dad jokes that could be heard for miles. EVERY SINGLE PERSON absolutely RAVED about the incredible job Nicky did. Nicky drove out to the party in Primrose just to help out and support and give congratulations! You will NEVER have the pleasure of working with such a committed, thorough, kind and wonderful person as you will working with the Nicky and her team. She called me (just the right amount) to discuss details and make sure our unique personalities were represented in decorations and choices. They set everything up and broke everything down-- I DID NOT DO A THING. I was unbelievably nervous for the event (you know, in-laws, am I right), and knowing all of the set up and decorating and gathering of food and desserts was going to be entirely covered probably saved me from losing years of my life due to stress. Comfort. Security. You really feel they care, and you really feel they have it covered -- there is good reason to trust her work. This woman MADE my wedding cake, and found the most amazing custom cake topper so my partner and I could be represented. She found a gentleman with an acoustic guitar to play for us, and this guy was awesome, my uncles were beside themselves; there were feet tapping all over the place. And lastly, but maybe the biggest show of her care and compassion, I in no way could afford to pay her the amount she was due. And she did it anyway. I don't think they made any kind of profit on this event, but she still dedicated months of her life and work to putting it on and giving it her undeniably best effort. I have never worked with a party planner before in my life, I never felt I could afford it, but I threw this woman a bone and she caught it and ran it across for the ultimate touchdown. From the bottom of my heart, I can't thank her enough and I can't recommend her enough. Whatever it is folks: Nicky will make it happen, and it will be fabulous.
