HAIRDRESSER FORCING HER WORK ON YOU AND THEN EXPECTING YOU TO PAY

I went to this salon/ academy with a R250.00 voucher for my first visit. When I walked in, the stylist/ owner did not even know I had an appointment as she "did not check her calendar". Anyway I then sit down and she is very friendly. I tell her from the start that I have an extremely tight budget and she must let me know before she does anything so that I can know what the price is. I had booked for ONLY a toner to be put on (Price is R250-R450). She then starts cutting my hair (that I did not ask for). After that, she puts the toner on. Then afterwards she dries my fringe to show me how the color came out (I am very happy with the color). By this time I have told her 3/4 times that I have a very limited budget. She asks me if she must blow dry the rest of my hair and I say NO I will do it at home. She continued anyway. When it was time to pay, she charged me for the cut and blow (WHICH I DID NOT ASK FOR) and everything came to a total of R800. I am a person that does not like conflict and paid it anyway, very well knowing that I cannot afford it. When my mother later asked her to refund me the the R600.00 that she *******ly charged me, she rep**** that she HAD to cut my hair as it was APPALLING (her exact word). My mother then explained to her that it still was not her decision to make as I did not ask for the services that she forced on me. Her reply was "if you carry on you will get nothing and don't bite the hand that tries to help you" (she offered to pay back R350.00). This is unacceptable behaviour from a service provider and I would never recommend that anyone goes to her! She just does what she wants and then expects you to pay afterwards, no matter how many times you tell her you have a budget. DISGUSTING TO SAY THE LEAST!!
