Withholding info from loyal clients

I've been going to the EuroSuit in Parkview, Moreleta Park for 6 years. I rented my matric dance suit there, suits for weddings and suits for my graduations. Two weeks ago I decided to buy a suit. I asked the manager, Nick, about the possibility of a discount on the suit and if they have any upcoming sales. He said no, but he will gladly give me 10% off on the R2900.00 purchase I was about to make.

I fetched my suit 2 days later after making multiple calls to them to enquire about the status of the alterations after not hearing anything from them on the day they said they would contact me to tell me that my suit is ready for collection. Upon entering the shop, I saw SALE! posters everywhere, stating that all suits are 20% off. Nick was not there so I asked why he decided to withhold that info from me. Apparently, he didn't know, but after doing some digging, I found out that Bride & Co and EuroSuit were informed by HQ about the sale the day before I made the purchase.

An extra 10% might not sound like a lot, but please keep in mind that I am a student (albeit post-grad) and was denied discount on a previous rent although I received a coupon that made me eligible for it as Nick conveniently forgot to tell the system to deduct the 10% upon ringing up the item. He made it clear that I would be compensated the next time, which I wasn't.

The product might be great, but I am no longer a loyal customer of a place that has it out for their customers. I phoned again today to enquire about possible compensation, only to be laughed and yelled at, and topped with the manager shifting the blame to his assistant followed by hanging up in my ear.
