European Carpenter
Very poor design of a custom-made bar. I do have an Ice Maker which I had to remind Mike from European Carpenter to add to the design after his visit. He added it to his design, and on his official Quote. After installation, the Ice Maker does not fit properly, after he took the dimensions. My under-counter Fridge door does not open properly now, and my drawer from the bar also bumps against the Icemaker. Paid over 100K for this, and his reply, "I can not helping" yes his spelling not mine. He also supp**** a wrong Mixer and it cost me an extra 3K to get it resolved. I will not recommend using Mike and European Carpenters at all. Very poor Customer service and a so-called 5-year warrantee.

30 Jul 2021, 08:41George was unhappy due to his old freestanding ice maker not fitting well in his newly designed and built bar. The original design was for an under-counter ice maker and not the “deeper" free-standing ice maker. This was a misunderstanding between European Carpenter & George.
In the hope of resolving any issues, several options were given by European Carpenter. Unfortunately, communication with George was really poor, leading to delays.
Finally, George agreed with the option of European Carpenter purchasing a new Snowmaster under-counter ice maker for the amount R 13 699.00. We also agreed to fit extra cabinetry around the new ice maker (giving better flow with built in appearance). The above was all at European Carpenter's own expense.
George was really satisfied with the completed product and even offered to pay for the additional cabinetry (this was declined). George sent various pictures through via WhatsApp stating just how happy he is with the final product European Carpenter had designed and built. He also agreed to amend his negative reviews - though this was a while ago, to date the negative reviews have not been amended.
