Worst rental company in the world.

My insurance rented a car for me at Europcar Meadowdale, just before I had to return it I had a puncture. To my shock the spare tyre was not road worthy at all, the car was almost impossible to drive. Luckily I had to return the car the next morning when I did, when I delivered the car I showed them the spare tyre. They were very apologetic and made me sign a complaint form, the manager was suppose to contact me but never did. To my surprise I suddenly get a mail from LGR saying that I owe Europcar R550 for damages. I then responded that surely based on the condition of the car they gave me I could not be held reliable. Then I received another update from LGR that it was not for the tyre but so a small scratch, nothing was discuss or shown to me as proof. These guys **** you and ironically this is not the first bad experience with Europcar. Will never use them again, and if they continue with the summons I will start an investigation in regards to how they can rent cars out which is not road worthy????
