Worst rental company ever.

I booked a car with Europcars on the 21st of July through Travelocity to be picked up at Rand Airport on the 23rd of July at 8h30a.m. On the morning of the 22nd of July I phoned them and spoke to Cassidy and informed her that I will be taking the car into Lesotho as I have an appointment at the US consulate in Maseru on the morning of the 24th of July. I was informed of the overborder extra charge and assured that the required documentation would be available at pick up of the vehicle. I arrived at the pick up at 9a.m. Firstly they had no vehicle available and none of the required paperwork was available. I was informed that they will drive me to their Bedfordview branch and upgrade free of charge. We arrived at the branch and people were running around trying to obtain the required paperwork. I was informed the total would be R11500 no problem handed over my credit card and they got on the phone.15 min later I was informed that their bank isnt picking up my credit card. I handed over another card and waited another 20 min before I was informed that their bank isnt picking up my credit card , this now being after 11 a.m. Having had enough of a frustration I demanded to be driven back to Rand Airport. I walked into Avis car rental and as luck would have it they had a vehicle available for me. 45 mins later I was on my way to Lesotho no problems with my credit card whatsoever. The staff at Europcar was in no way helpfull and seemed to lack training and profesionalism expected from said company. It was the first time I used their service and believe me for sure the last time.
