Vehicle Inspection
Early today I returned my rental vehicle to George airport. As it was still very early I only dropped the keys through the window onto the counter, I then proceeded to the flight check-in counter. I then received a call from a Europcar employee that informed me that after inspection they found new scratched on the vehicle that I am responsible for, as there were still enough time I informed the person that I am not aware of that and I am on my way to their office. On arrival the guy that did the inspection showed me the scratches. I was surprised. Luckily I still had the slip which were signed of on Thursday on receipt of the vehicle. That exact same scratch was indicated on the slip. After a long conversation and trying to explain to the guy that it was an old scratch and I am not responsible for damage as this was marked on the slip I insisted to see the manager, he then called the person that originally signed of the vehicle on Thursday. After waiting a few minutes for this employee to arrive from the depot he immediately confirmed that the scratch was previously on the vehicle.<br> I am regularly making use of Europcar and has never experienced this from the staff at this branch
