Unreliable Europe car rental

I rented a car at europcar wonderboom airport which was arranged for me by my insurance, after i was involved in a car accident. I found their car with scratches before i take it and informed them about those scratches before i take the car last year December, and returned it 22 January 2022. Now they are saying that its me who made those scratches and i need to pay. Last time they said i must pay R1700 now they are saying i must pay R1900 . Next time its gona be more. They want to eat my salary forever by making endless payments.I even cancelled car rental from my insurance because i realised that europcar is not treating me fair.
